Projects Queensland is an award winning ASOFIA member

 

ABOUT US
Projects Queensland Pty Ltd was established by managing director Brad Dunne on the Gold Coast in 1989 and has grown into a national business with an executive team of six very experienced senior managers. Brad was soon joined by Manuel Peña, now company General Manager and the reputation of the fledgling company for on-time delivery of quality product and shop fitouts spread and their work was soon noticed by the market and global luxury brands.


WHAT WE DO
The competitive world of brand retailing and the requirement for fitouts to complement the products displayed has seen Projects Queensland receive contracts for many of the luxury global brand stores and various national brands around Australia as a direct result of its reputation for skilled project management and delivery of world –class fitouts.

The company has a highly responsive project management team who get to clearly understand every aspect of the client fit-out specifications and expectations. Each project manager provides regular construction and budget reporting to the client, architect and interior designer from project startup to handover. The company project managers have an enviable record of 100% project completion every time.


PROGRESS
Now in its 26th year the company is a recognised brand itself, nationally, in South East Asia and New Zealand for the delivery of commercial retail projects and luxury store fitouts. The drawing office team provides the production manager with specifications and shop drawings for the manufacture of the most complex cabinets and furniture.


FACILITIES
The company owns a modern shop-fitting manufacturing facility on the Gold Coast that incorporates Head Office. At this facility attention has been paid to installing efficient machinery that minimises waste. Focus has also been on the implementation of roof-water harvesting, and the installation of a large scale solar system (40kW+) and energy-saving lighting. The aim of these measures has been to reduce operating costs and lessening environmental impact

 

STAFF
Retention of loyal staff is a hallmark of Projects Queensland operations with a commitment to staff development. Over the past twenty years the employment of apprentices has been part of the management’s commitment to the industry. Many have stayed on and assumed senior roles within the company. In 2014/2015 our apprentices received several trade and industry awards. . Highly reliable, quality driven and competitive suppliers and subcontractors make up part of the team that help contribute to the success of the company and many have a long-term relationships with Projects Queensland. A branch office is located in Perth.


HIGHLIGHTS JAN-JUNE 2016
With AMP Capital Shopping Centre’s Limited nearing completion of its $670 million revitalisation of Pacific Fair, Gold Coast, over $11+ million of fitouts will have been completed by Projects Queensland as part of this massive project. Other projects have been completed in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Townsville.
