Home / Asofia News / ASOFIA Queensland Update – April 2017

We wish to thank those in attendance at our 1st function of the year at Ronald McDonald House in South Brisbane on Wednesday, 19 April. The evening was successful, with presentations from Wayne Jenkinson from the ABCC, Peter Freeman from Nationwide Insurance, Nev Griffiths from Mirage Doors (the event sponsor) and an interview with Dennis Hogan, who is the current Intercontinental welterweight boxing champion and currently rated #3 in the WBO world rankings.

Wayne outlined the ABCC’s services and abilities in providing assistance to member companies with any industrial relations matters they may incur. Peter outlined his companies’ diverse range of very competitive and relevant insurance services, covering both professional and personal requirements for ASOFIA members. Nev announced the availability of Mirage’s upgraded web site, which for the 1st time in their industry allows architects, specifiers and shopfitters to download specifications for their projects. Dennis provided very keen insights into the level of commitment and dedication required for him to succeed at the highest level. All in all it was an informative and entertaining night, with some donations also generously made to Ronald McDonald House.

ASOFIA is renowned for providing a social and networking outlet for like – minded companies and individuals. However we all operate in a fast paced and complex business environment.
